Steven Salaita: Searching Identities in Modern Arab American Fiction

Steven Salaita is the Edward Said Chair of American Studies at the American University of Beirut and the author of numerous books, including the pioneering studies of Arab American literature, Arab American Literary Fictions, Cultures, and Politics (2007) and Modern Arab American Fiction: A Reader’s Guide (2011).  He has also worked comparatively in indigenous and Palestinian studies and his most recent book is Inter/Nationalism: Decolonizing Native America and Palestine (2016).
